Bibione: its location

Caressed by the sun and lying at the mouth of the Tagliamento river in the easternmost part of Veneto lies BIBIONE.
Founded by far-sighted pioneers in the 50s, Bibione underwent a rational urban development and has become a renowned summer holiday resort with modern entertainment and accommodation facilities. However, Bibione has always remained truthful to the concept of a holiday “on a human scale”. In 2005, Bibione received for the 10th consecutive year the Blue Flag, which is awarded every year only to the sea resorts that comply with high sea water, service, cleanliness and safety standards. Moreover, Bibione is also the first European Touristic Area to implement an EMAS-certified Environmental Management System which monitors water quality, waste disposal, treatment plants, selective waste sorting and urban design.
